P&C Annual General Meeting 2013
Our P&C Association is a school-based organisation open to all parents, carers, teachers and interested citizens of our community. We are a dedicated group of people whose common objective is to be actively involved in our children's schooling. The money we raise goes to improving our children's education.
We have our AGM on Monday 18th March at 6.30pm in the staffroom.
Throughout 2012, the P&C operated with only 3 office holder positions. Those positions were President, Treasurer, Secretary.
Due to the increased activities of the P&C over the past 12 months, we need to look at increasing our office holders for 2013 to the 5 positions as outlined by the P&C Association, being President, two Vice-Presidents, Secretary, and Treasurer.
In addition to these Office Bearer roles, we need to formalise a Market Day sub-committee. The P&C Association has guidelines concerning sub-committees and their functions. To follow these guide lines the Market Day sub-committee needs a chairperson to report back to the P&C at each general meeting, and ideally a book-keeper to report the financial side back to the P&C Treasurer. Other members of the sub-committee are flexible. There was an informal sub-committee in place during 2012 but in line with most recent discussions of this sub-committee last Friday night, this sub-committee will need to be formalised for 2013.
