Curriculum

Como Public School has a strong focus on technology with high computer and internet to student ratios in all classrooms.

We have a well-resourced library, interactive electronic whiteboards in every classroom and intranet and email for all students.

Our school community is committed to our core values and promotes student leadership and decision making.

Effective 'Peer Support' and 'Anti-Bullying' Programs and a positive Discipline Policy at Como Public School inspire respect, understanding and social responsibility.

We have a Greenweb Program, an established vegetable garden and other programs to educate our children on the importance of caring for their environment.

Our Students are encouraged to maintain health and physical fitness. This is supported through participation in the 'Active After School Communities' Program. Como Public School is always competitive at both District and Regional Swimming and Athletics Carnivals.

Our school develops leadership, builds individual character and promotes social responsibility and respect for others within a safe and caring environment.
